Very unique, handmade vintage stool made from salvaged wood. Someone took part of a Ballantines Scotch box and created the top to this cute stool as evidenced by the writing underneath. One of the legs has the number 51 embossed into the wood and the other appears to be from a Del Monte pineapple box. It appears to have been made in 1935 as someone has painted that number in white on the underside (see pictures). It’s quite charming.

This is a dark wood stool or small bench for your farmhouse, rustic or French country home. It has a “skirt” on both sides and the legs have been carved with an open work, half clover design. Stools are great to add texture and height to any styling vignette. This one is still strong and sturdy and sits flat with no wobble.
It would be perfect to put your feet up – or for kitchen or bath decor, plants, books, as a time out spot for a little one or even in a tablescape to elevate a special dessert on a vintage themed table. As with all vintage items, it is well worn, but overall it's in very good condition.

The stool measures 15 inches long by 7 1/2 inches wide across the top and stands 10 ¾ inches tall.
